| As long as you're eating your 3 cups of veggies per day, I think you will be fine. If you look at individual carb counts for the salad veggies, 3 cups of those will almost NEVER equal 20g...and if you're not eating any splenda, you're skipping those carbs too. The 20g comes from your veggies, cheese, and "other" foods like sour cream, heavy cream, olives, avocado, etc. I RARELY ate 20g on induction--usually around 16 or 17, like you. One thing I DID make sure to do was eat GOOD dark leafy greens, like spinach, or mixed baby greens. I stayed away from iceberg which is basically just water--not a lot of nutrients. I also made sure to eat lots of different kinds of veggies to see how my body reacted to them. Once I got to rung 1 of OWL (veggies) only then I was I actually eating 20g a day.

| Yes, 20g carb is the limit. So if you're under it's ok. Explore other veggie possibilities though that might have some more carb content if you'd like. It makes it very interesting!

| Ditto what the others said. If you eat your three cups of veggies, you'll be fine on less. I too rarely made it to 20 in induction.
