| Dont worry yet about your loss amount - induction is 14 days - so you have another 7 to go till you can work out how resistant to weightloss your metabolism is from the chart in DANDR ![]() Weightloss is a very personal thing and depends on so many variables in addition to how well you are following the rules, so everyone will have differing results. I dont use the ketosis strips but many others do like them, and they are fairly widely available in pharmacies (chemists in UK). You may need to ask specially for them as some shops dont have them out on the shelves. There is a new thread today on this forum asking about the strips which you might find informative. | Mizte, one thing you did not mention was how much water you are drinking. You need to be drinking AT MINIMUM 64 ounces of water per day. Add another 8 ounces for every 25 lbs you want to lose. Even close to my goal I'm drinking in excess of 100 ounces per day. When I don't drink my water, I don't lose. When you don't drink LOTS of fresh water, your body doesn't think it's going to get any, so it holds onto that water in the body tissue. Once you start drinking LOTS of water, your body will realize that water is plentiful and always available and that it doesn't need to carry it around. It will then release the excess water from your tissues and you'll see a big loss on the scale. There is a magic weight loss pill, and it's called WATER. And, if that wasn't enough reason to drink your water...maybe this is reason enough...if you don't drink enough water, you'll get constipated. Nuff said. LOL

| Are you exercising? Did you do any measurements? Sometimes you will see a loss of inches instead of pounds for awhile. |
