| It can happen people have gone though induction without losing anything. One of our ex admins on this site suffered with the exact same problem. They went through a squeaky clean 2 week induction and didnt lose anything at all. But, and this is a big BUT, they did get to goal. If it happens to you, dont worry unduly, because aslong as you stick to plan it works in the end. I can however understand how disheartening it could feel. Rich

| I think you should read the rest of her thread because (thanks to higgies) we learned that she was eating about 600 calories a day---which is much too low for an adult. Also Orann was inadvertently eating low fat, which Dr. Atkins clearly states not to do.

| And for anyone that does have issues, it's a good idea to post a couple of days menus in our 'review my menu' forum. Someone can go over your menu for you and let you know if there's anything you are doing wrong, ie: not eatin enough as Megs pointed out, or foods that you could be eating that could possibly stall you (some people have issues with dairy or cheese, others with sweeteners etc). the best thing to remember to help with induction is to keep your fats/carbs/proteins at 65/5/30 % (journalling your foods in www.fitday.com you can figure out your %'s), making sure you eat when you are hungry, and making sure you stop when you are full, eat only what is on the induction list, no bars, shakes candy etc, and stick with whole foods nothing processed.

| ... and, if you read her Journal, you will see that her dr. has diagnosed her with a digestive issue which they are working to resolve. You can *stall* with weight loss so you should be prepared to accept that. Are you taking your measurements??
