| Yes - but don't forget to count the carbs...check what you are using to be certain, but I think it's like 3 g carb/1g fiber per tablespoon. |

| That would be ABSOFRICKENLUTELY!!! Without the allowance of cocoa powder in my life on occasion - I would probably have left this Atkins gig a loooooonnnnnng time ago.

| I would say that on induction we should treat unsweetened cocoa powder as a spice if we want to use it, meaning not to go overboard with it!! So maybe one tablepoonsworth maximum? and has been said - count the carbs too which should be fairly self-limiting anyway. To use it in larger amounts we should wait till we reach the nuts/seeds rung of OWL where we can add 5 net carbsworth if we like!

| Really? I genuinely didn't know that. So that means that a cup of hot chocolate (using plain cocoa, Splenda, heavy cream and hot water) on induction is perfectly legal? Or a small amount of chocolate pudding (plain cocoa, Splenda, whipping cream) is also OK? |

| Yes, technically, BUT - you still have your 2-3 tablespoon per day LIMIT on cream during induction - so that doesn't make much in the way of hot cocoa or whipped cream. |

| As has been said, yes technically it is ok. But, I would recomend it as it can easily kick start your taste buds again for things illegal. Rich

| I guess it would be a very small cup of hot chocolate or just a mouthful of chocolate pudding, so it's probably not even worth the washing up! I suppose it's questionable how useful it would be for cravings. On the one hand, if someone was climbing the walls for chocolate it could be just the thing to get them through at that moment, but if it encourages more cravings then is it the best option at all? Probably one of those YMMV things. |
