Default Breakfast

I'm reading up on Atknis right now trying to get my head around the steps and what to eat. I'm wondering..... If you don't like eggs what do you have for breakfast?

Default Re: Breakfast

Steak, porkchops, leftovers! Those would be my choices. THat is one of the reasons this WOE is great, you don't have to classify food into certain meals. LOL

Yes... leftovers are great, once you get out of the mindset that you can only eat traditional breakfast foods for breakfast. Also veggies and cheese.
I sometimes ate cheese on flax crackers (some flax is allowed in induction for constipation).
There's also a pork rind cereal (crushed pork rinds with cream, cinnamon and splenda) which is good... even though it might not sound like it.

I agree with the leftovers. It's 8:00 in the morning here and I'm eating a chicken breast leftover from last night.

Default Re: Breakfast

I love eggs. Lovelovelove eggs. Hard boiled, in quiche, smashed up into egg salad, scrambled, any way I can get them!

I've totally been pimping out Linda's web site today. (I can't help it, she's wonderful!) Go browse around her web site, I'm sure there are plenty of acceptable breakfast-y recipes there.

At first, you're like, "Chicken? For breakfast?? Pork chops? For breakfast??" But then you start thinking, "Steak? For breakfast?? Wait. Steak. For breakfast. STEAK FOR BREAKFAST!! I get to have STEAK for BREAKFAST!" (Or maybe I'm just too excited about having steak for breakfast.)

BTW, this is what I had for breakfast this morning. (Then I had some more for lunch.)
