| #1: I think all the water and the higher fat content of your food are causing this, I wouldn't think it's anything to worry about. #2: Yes, your body will get use to all that water, but in the meantime you may want to limit what you drink a couple hours before bed. |

| Yep... stop drinking water a while before you go to bed. Re your having the opposite problem to constipation, well...some people are affected that way by this diet. Perhaps it's the extra fat...but your body will get used to it in a short while and settle down. No worries.

| with the diarrhea, make sure that you're eating all of your veggies. Fiber is kind of amazing ... moves things that doesn't want to move... provides bulk for things that need bulking...

| A few nights ago I woke up during the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, and I tell you it was the longest pee I have ever had in my life. My wife even brought it up in the morning and the family had a good laugh about it .. she said she figured it was almost 1.5 minutes long. She laughed in bed after I said OMG after about 45 straight seconds. But yeah .. like many I know where every bathroom is everywhere I go |

| When I restarted Atkins a while back, it was not too long before I started dating a new guy. As if the awkwardness of seeing someone new, and spending nights together, and all that stuff wasn't enough, I had to deal with these "different" bodily functions. I went to the ADBB Women's Forum and asked how to deal with diarrhea, and having to pee 4 times during the night at the new guy's house. (Sort of embarrassing, no?) I got all kinds of great advice. Anyway, I drink lots and lots of water, just like I'm supposed to. During one of our sleepovers, I went into the bathroom in the middle of the night for a marathon pee. I was in there for like, over 5 minutes. Apparently the new guy noticed. When I got back to bed, he said that he noticed how many times I try to "sneak" into the bathroom during the night, and made a comment about how long I'm in there. He asked if I had a drug problem. Seriously. He thought I was in there shooting up, snorting lines, smoking crack, whatever. ![]() Every time I think about that, I laugh. Don't worry, your body will sort itself out. It just needs to get used to this WOE.
