| Absolutely bell peppers are allowed! In fact, I had one for dinner, sauteed with a chicken breast. I believe the red and yellow are allowed as well, but for some reason I'm thinking they may have a few more carbs than the green ones? |

| Oh yes, they're allowed, and so are jalapeno peppers! I eat a small bell pepper almost everyday for lunch. I love the flavor of the colored ones so much! I just cut it into strips, put it in a snack baggie, and wham, there's my lunch veggie! You can add them to stirfries, eat them raw with dip, grill them, or melt cheese on them. You could even stuff them with cauliflower rice and ground beef to make stuffed peppers.

| If it's a pepper, it's legal. The carb, fiber & nutrient content varies from strain to strain, though, so you should check information for the amount you are eating of the right type, (ie 1T cayenne, ground or 1C chopped sweet bell, etc) using a fodd database such as fitday.com or a nutrition book. Likewise with different varieties of other listed legal foods, such as radish or lettuce, that have different varieties.
