Question Deli Ham?

What is the best kind of ham (or should I use turkey) for induction. I love it in my eggs, and on chicken breast with cheese and bacon.

Also, cheese. I use the kraft american slices. Tried to find a thread giving me some choices (if the above is not correct)

this is my second time around on the induction. Last time was exactly one year ago. I lost 23lbs in 4wks. which brought me down to 153. I am back up to my start weight of 176. It took me 7mths to do it, which i don't think is to bad. I am in the process of buying an eliptical machine. Only $300 at walmart!

Also - what kind of heavy cream should I buy. Does it specifically say "heavy cream"? Is it a liquid or like butter considency?

Thanks for all your help. I know if feel real crappy when I am off the diet. Even if i don't loose lbs. everyday, i feel good that I am doing something about my weight. We AMerican's don't realize how spoiled and good we have it....

Thanks - Rhonda

Default Re: Deli Ham?

Hi,

This is my first day here, but from what I read when I was looking at labels in prep for day 1, deli ham can be chock full of sugar. Read the label and make sure there is no sugar there.

I have found a new deli ham and turkey. It is made by Oscar Mayer. Its called Natural Smoked Ham and Natural Smoked Turkey. It has no carbs and no sugar. Tastes good to me. I eat it in my salads when I am tired of chicken.

Good luck!

Hi, Rhonda... welcome to the board!

The heavy cream is liquid, it comes in pints or quarts and it's right by the milk. If you can't find any that just says "heavy cream", buy the "heavy whipping cream". It's the same thing, the whipping cream just has some stablizers added to it. But you can use either one.

Good luck!
