| I weighed. But I'm a self-proclaimed scale addict and get really very excited when the numbers go down. When they go up, I just base them against a number I used to be and basically say "well, it's not that, and if I go eat that cake because I'm depressed about it being up, it will be". Most people say stay away. Did you take your starting measurements as well? I strongly recommend them and a picture. I wish I had a real starting picture. It would both shock and amaze people.

| I also weighed during Induction usually every 2 days. |

| If weighing frequently starts to make you feel things are not working and might as well give up then avoid the scale till the end of induction.

| I have the opposite problem; I AVOIDED the scale and didn't weigh after induction, therefore I don't have that great of an estimate of what my CCLL will be...ok, well now I have a bit of an idea...but what I'm saying is this: daily weighing can make you go crazy, and avoiding it completely is a worse idea. I would wait until induction is over to weigh again. Also, make sure you weigh in the morning after you've gone to the bathroom, completely naked. This will be closest to your "true" weight.

| Thanks for the advice, everyone. I'm going to try to not weigh until the 14 days are up, but then I don't promise I won't become a scale addict again! |

| When I started induction, I believe I was on it for 4 - 5 week, until these fine folks paved the way and show me the awesome joys of OWL, I would weigh in on Mondays, and Thursdays. Although I was tempted, I put the scale in the closet and waited until these days. When I started OWL I only weighed in on Mondays. I still do that now. Scale goes up in the closet until Mondays! |
