Default Eating real food at last

If we're all honest, we'll admit that before Atkins we were eating a lot of junk. The drive-thru windows seemed so much easier some days.

I'm sitting here for breakfast... (well... brunch, I slept in!... ) but I'm eating a salad with romaine, colby jack, and bleu cheese dressing. It took me one minute to put together, it's a fraction of the cost of a fast food breakfast and it's REAL food.

I think I'd forgotten what real, healthy food tasted like. I can do this.

I agree, I felt healthier the first few days not for lost weight but for the better food I was eating

REAL food just makes you feel REAL good! Sounds like a yummy brunch. I often enjoy just a salad with cheese. It doesn't always have to be about meat and eggs.

Exactly! When I started to eat it, I thought how boring. But it really hit the spot.

I swear, it's only the 4th day and I'm feeling so much better. My energy level is WAY up.

dream, you're absolutely right. I used to wonder "how did I get so fat?" until I plugged in a "typical" pre-Atkins menu into fitday. It came out to 5,000 calories and 600g of carbs.

I love real, wholesome foods now. I am of the opinion that Atkins is the most satisfying WOL out there. I used to think, "Oh I don't have time to eat healthy." Bullcrap. The quickest meal to put together is a salad, and like you said, it's SOOOOOOOO much cheaper than fast food!

Thanks for the reminder of days gone by, dream.

I had the same epiphany! Best thing is the more I get used to buying groceries and preparing good food, the easier and tastier it gets. I love Atkins!!
