| Hi kev and welcome! I've been having eggs and bacon for breakfast for 32 days and love it! I've decided to stop having bacon for a while, starting today, as it's supposed to be very salty. So just having my 2 egg omelette (with slice of cheese melted in it) won't be enough, so I will be watching your thread for ideas too (I've been on extended Induction and just moved to the first rung of OWL a couple of days ago.)

| Hiya Kev, I'm just finishing my first day of induction! I made egg, bacon & sausage muffins. They are gorgeous!!! Need to be careful of too much processed meats but I really enjoyed these. They are great cold as well. Easy to just grab one as a snack also when your peckish during the day. Have a look in the breakfast section...the recipe is in there. Good luck with everything! XoXoX |

| Hi Kev, I love cold fried chicken, or a hamburger patty with cheese wrapped in Charlene

| How about a BLT wrap?... Wrap your bacon, chopped tomato, maybe a sprinkle of cheese and some mayo in a big romaine lettuce leaf. Wrap it like a burrito and you can even eat it on the run if you're running late in the morning. |

| Another thread I was just in reminded me: Pancakes for breakfast are good and I sometimes have a small side of some sort of meat or some grilled tomato and butter From another member here - Using eggs, however many you would like. I use 2 and it gets me 4 nice fluffy pancakes, and they're very filling. Seperate the whites from the yolks and beat the egg whites until stiff. Lightly fork the yolks and then fold them gently into the whites. Cook heaped tablespoons in a frypan. Eat them straight away as they fluff up. They are yummy used as roll ups too! I have also made them using purely the egg whites and also baked just the egg white mix in the oven to use as a pizza base For a sweet version use some of your sweetner allowance or a tiny dash of Pure Vanilla Extract.

| I eat last night's leftovers frequently: it's fast, it's cooked and it's in the frig.

When I get bored with my usual bacon and eggs I usually will replace the eggs with a low carb yogurt, or some cottage cheese with a few berries added in. |

| I try to have leftovers from supper the night before, or I'll make up a chef salad. Also, check out the thread in the Second Time Around forum, called, "Check Out These Bad Boys". Great breakie idea in there! |
