Default After my 2nd week of induction...........

Not as good as I had planned but I know exactly why.....I didn't drink as much water as I should.

Down 2 more lbs (total of 9 in the first 2 weeks) but my measurements were different....

Down..............1" in my waist, 1/4" in thigh, 1/1" in neck, 1 " in lower abdomen,
and then for where I always loose first ----- 1 " in my bust, 3" under bust (top of ribs) and 4" in chest.

I will keep on keeping on and DRINK MY WATER as I should !!!

Thanks for all the wonderful info on here - it keeps me focused, I can HONESTLY say I have had NO sugar, flour, bread, etc in over 2 weeks now....woooo hooooo !!

Have a GREAT weekend !

Sounds like your doing great. Its so hard to remember the water. I have that problem too and would drink soda days in a row with no water. I have to force myself to drink it but once I do I like it. I also know to lose the weight I have to do it...

Im sure you will do great now that you know this is your down fall, keep up the good work.

Congratulations on the great loss. Are you staying in induction or moving on to OWL?

Thanks for all the replies - without this place (I don't post much but I read a ton) I would have probably already given up.

I am staying on induction for a while - especially since I haven't exactly done it right - although I have had no sugar, etc I have had too much heavy cream, not enough water, etc - so I am gonna do it right now !!

I found a recipe for an "induction friendly chocolate shake" and it has 1 cup of cream, so now that is another major factor in my not so great 2nd week.

My best friend just left for Chicago today for 10 (LONG) weeks so I want to really do this right so she will be shocked when she sees me June 2nd. Of course she is a mom of 3 and a STICK that thinks she is overweight.

Thanks again for all the encouragement and tips -- I couldn't do it without all of you

Thanks Julie -- Actually I feel like crap.....my husband has been sick all week despite antibiotics, etc. Stuffy head, hurt all over, etc although we both had the flu shot in October.

Other than being sick, my best friend being gone just today seems like forever. We did talk on the phone but it just isn't the same. We just recently started a business together and we both homeschool our kids (who are best friends), so we were always talking or seeing each other.

She has my baby too (actually her 2 year old daughter) but I feel like she is mine too I know her other two (12 & 9) will remember me - I have known them 10 years but I worry about my baby. She just started talking so much and I miss her terribly. I kept telling her to tell her mom that she wasn't going to Chicago and she would say "I not goin' to cago, I stay with Angie". Her mom said to tell me to "keep the dream alive" - well that didn't happen she is gone :0(

Oh well, enough of my pity party - friend and baby gone and now sick......but I will be more than ok.

Thanks again,
