| According to Chapter 8 of DANDR 2002, fiber supplements like flax meal, psyllium husks, and wheat bran are allowed for daily fiber supplementation at 1 tablespoon per day. If you are constipated you can use more, until you achieve 'relief'.

| Also, check the sugar content of the flavor of Metamucil you get - it isn't always just psyllium husks. My dad used to get an orange-flavored one that was really really sweet. Quote:
