| Plain old coffee has 1-2g carbs per serving. Let's figure 2g for every 8 ounces. That puts you at 6g carbs for the coffee alone. If you're adding french cappucino...as in a creamer or the actual junk in a machine? That could have lots of hidden sugars. If you're on induction, you've already used 1/3-1/2 your daily carbs on a coffee. Not smart. YOu should be getting the majority of your carbs from veggies, and your daily allowances of cheese and special foods constitute the remaining amount of the 20g. Many people find that coffee stalls their weightloss. Either from the caffiene (decaf doesn't mean caffiene-free, it just means that most of the caffiene has been removed); or because of what you put IN it--sweeteners, cream, etc.--which add up to "hidden" carbs or cause bad cravings for other foods. It's best to give it up cold turkey. Try it for a week, you'll be surprised with the results!

| Yeah..... seriously.... stay clear of that. Plus it's 7-11 coffee! gross Then again I'm a coffee snob and live in SF Anyway.... I had to give it up altogether. I had some sort of mental block that basically really messes me up when I try my old foods that are SIMILAR to the real thing. Better to just go through a CLEAN induction. That said... last time around I would allow myself a latte after I was out of induction but it was NOT a good idea. It worked for me but YMMV... IF you HAVE to do it try to do it black and/or get a shot of espresso from a good coffee place. Kevin |
