| that depends on lots of stuff, how much do you have to lose? how much exercise will you actually do? are you gonna do this completely by the book? are you going to stay on induction for that whole month? even with all those questions answered i cant tell you how much you will lose, every person is different, I lost 20ish in my first month i went completely by the book. I cant exercise much so my weightloss was slowed down - and fyi, i had about 70lbs to lose.

| Emma is right, it is impossible for anyone to foretell how much weight you might lose in that time. But if you stick to the rules, drink your water and exercise I am sure you will look smaller and might even be wearing smaller clothes sizes by then!!

| I think it's ok to drink coffee, I cannot live without mine. Just make sure it's decaf and be careful what you put in it extra. I just put a little bit of cream and splenda in mine. Thats my treat.. |

| I am a 1 cuppa day myself. lol Heavy whipping cream and sf syrups...mmmm Amaretto. As for wl they say that 1-3 lbs is a good rate it really depends on your metabolic resistance. I normally use 3 lbs a week sometimes a lil more so I strive for 8-10 lbs a month for me. My mom on the other hand...she has a highly resistant to WL and on average loses 3/4- 1lb a week even on Atkins. I am 6ft and need to lose 50 lbs she is 5'8 and striving to lose 40lbs. So...as they say its hard to predict how much weight someone will lose. You probably already know deep down when you are doing your plan without cheating what your rate of loss is. Get out your DANDR and stick to the book. Start out fresh on Induction.

| Weightloss was very steady for me. Most people seem to experience this pattern. Fast loss in the begining then it tapers off as you get closer to goal. I lost about 15lbs in my first month, many of those lbs were gone during induction. My current goal is 120 and I've been as close as 123, but only for a brief time. Right now my body is fluctuating around 125-128. If you stick to plan, you'll get results! Coffee is not bad but caffeine can affect your weightloss. Some people don't have this problem though. Whatever you do, make sure what you are putting in the coffee is on plan.

| My advice.... stay clear of the scale the WHOLE time. Focus on inches lost. It's MUCH more reliable and that's really what you want ANYWAY. People don't really care about pounds.... it's inches. In my experience I can lose about .5" a week but with stalls maybe once a month. Kevin |
