1. small insulated lunch bag--you should be able to find this in the school supply section of most stores or look in the sporting goods section. 2. a freezer-gel pack to keep foods cool---look for this in the seasonal picnic section of most stores 3. a couple of plastic reusable, microwaveable containers 4. fork/spoon 5. thermos jar (if you want to transport hot meals or more liquidy foods, like soups.) At the college I attended there were microwaves available for student use in the student lounges or dining hall. Anyhow... Some foods you might want to bring: Tuna, chicken or egg salad Leftovers from the previous night's dinner Boiled eggs Cheese, veggie sticks and dip

| When I am out and about I go to target. In their food section they sell cheese sticks for like 27 cents, it's a perfect snack if I"m stuck out somewhere. |

| Hi Starrynight, I'm new to this too, but I do know to whatch out for those seafood salads. Most of them are made with artificial seafoods which are loaded with sugar, not to mention the deli sauces that are loaded too. I lie alot and say I'm allergic to wheat and diabetic and need to see the ingredient list. Otherwise the deli's aren't always helpful about sharing the ingredients. Just remember, Labels, Labels, Labels. |

| Unfortunately, Japanese food has almost as much added sugar as Chinese food. I didn't realize that until I read a Japanese cook book.
