| I get all that negative crap too..... when I say i'm on Atkins. I only know it works 4 me. I hear when you go off you'll just gain it all back... YES!!!!!! you would that would HAPPEN with any diet if you started eating cake and candy again. This is a new way of eating not a quick fix. |

| People are negative. No matter what you do there will be those that support you in the minority and the vast majority that will offer their "experience" ..... I just made myself laugh ..... and negative comments. Next time somebody says "Atkins is bad for you and doesn't work ...." ask them: 1. How much weight they've had to lose before 2. How they did it. Or just feign interest in their comments and ask .... "I'm curious to hear more about how the Atkins Diet Failed You". Chances are you will get responses that can be categorized in the following : 1. They have absolutely no experience whatsoever. And don't know what they're talking about. 2. They have experiencing not following the Atkins plan. Misery loves company. If I can't rise above myself and conquor my "demons" and "addictions", I'll be damned sure if I want others to do so as well. So .... It won't work, stop trying, abandon all hope. B ... f'n .... S Bravo Sierra Cow Poo. We can change our lives and ourselves. Find what works for you and stick with with it .... and more importantly I've found .... adapt when what used to work no longer works. | everyone has an opinion..i am learning this as well....my 3rd day i had someone tell me i was going to kill my liver...i found that interesting..haha....even my doctor has commented to me that this isnt best for me as it puts too much stress on your kidneys..my father who did atkins, tells me all the time that if i am good all week i can have some bread or pizza or something one day.....you just have to not listen and do what is best for you...atkins isnt for everyone, and only we know what works best for us...wtg for not letting anyone sway you.... |
