| Soliwit is correct - the menus are only suggestions and do not need to be followed if you prefer different dishes than what they suggest. BTW if you do choose to use their suggestions do make sure by comparing any ingredients in them with the 'allowed foods' list for induction that ALL ingredients are on the list. The reason I said that is that though /i havent read the 'essentials' book I have read comments that the menus in that book do contain a lot of Atkins company products which contain ingredients NOT allowed on induction, meaning you cannot just follow their menus exactly without eating off-plan!!

| I agree with soliwit and Elizellen. The menues are useful to give you ideas of what you can eat and they are useful to give you ideas of the 'proper' Atkins serving sizes for foods like meat/protein and added fats. Otherwise, look over the list and make up a menu that suits your individual tastes.
