| I find eating out to be very easy on induction. Any grilled/roasted meat works. Steak, seafood, chicken Steamed vegetables or salads always fit most EVERY restaurant has these options. I mean, even McDonald's has them. The only place I really have a problem finding SOMETHING is taco bell.... Hamburger hold the bun and the ketchup with a side salad Breakfast--eggs, bacon, sausage, sliced tomatoes Lunch--chef salad, caesar salad with chicken or steak, greek salad hold the potatoe salad Find a grocery store and buy yourself some food instead of eating out. Ask the hotel for a mini-fridge and microwave. Many of them have them. As for what to drink. Water, twist of lime.

| ValidRouge Thanks!! I will really work on it and stick to the plan. As we normally have killer deadlines and work till very late when on these business trips I know I may not manage to go out running so I am carrying my aerobics afro-latino dance CD. Water is my weakness so far... Water, water, water... I need to really drink more of it. Thanks! A PS: You look great in your pic. GREAT.

| I work out of town sometimes too, so I know how that goes. The water is very important, bottoms up! Thanks for the kudos

| Airplanes - you need some snacks on there if you have long flights or no layovers. Hmm...beef jerky, pepperoni (although the salt in them will probably make you retain water.) What else? I'm thinking you might have issues with keeping food cold, so you can't necessarily take stuff that might spoil. Maybe some celery sticks. Try to eat in the airport right before you get on the plane.

| I've traveled a lot while on Atkins. Every place I've eaten has been gracious in allowing me to order an acceptable meal. If they bring the dessert or bread, I just don't eat it. They want to keep your business so they'll be happy to exchange veggies or fix your meal without breading or whatever. They don't want you to go elsewhere. I always order water with my meal, but I love water. If your hotel room has a frig, fill it up with acceptable snacks and water. If you make plans to succeed on the road, it isn't hard to do. Also, ask the hours of the exercise room so you can arrange time to keep up your exercise while on the road.
