| When you want to eat A LOT, it's your metabolism kicking in. I was like that the first week, too. Once your body gets used to this way of eating, you wont feel hungry anymore. I actually have to remind myself to eat now. I never thought in a million years that would happen.

| Don't be afraid to eat. Just make sure you're not feeding your mind and appetite instead of your hunger. After a few days or a week you should notice a decrease in appetite. I still have days where I can't seem to stop eating...the good thing is, if you pick the right foods you should be good!

| Dont choose your food intake according to calories - concentrate on keeping your carbs under the 20 net carb mark and eating off the allowed list!

| Yes... it gets easier and easier as you go along! I started out never thinking I'd make this a permanent lifestyle change... but that's what happened, it got so easy and pleasant! All you have to do is eat the right foods, eat to satisfy your hunger only (no more and no less) and drink masses. Well... and do some exercise too, of course. You'll be fine!

| It's really hard to understand about eating this way friend. You've probably done other 'diets' where you have to watch everything. Here you just keep your eye on that 20 carb ball and you'll be fine, just like Elizellen said. This isn't a 'diet', it's a way of life. You're making the committment to your body to eat this way the rest of you life. I was pretty much in your same boat, then all of a sudden one day, I was cooking 2 1/3 pound burgers like I always did, but pushing the second one away....it will happen. One day your appetite just kind of fizzles. That's a good thing! |

| What ive found is after one week...im really hungry at breakfast now (never used to be)..and even after eating a 2-3 egg veggie/cheese omelet..i still feel hungry...or maybe just not fully satiated. I dont know if thats my body or my brain thats thinkin somethins missing. I try to just hold off a couple of hours until i can have a snack...or wait for lunch. But the rest of the day, i am more easily satisfied. WHich is great, cuz i used to really have the nighttime munchies. So is it normal to still feel hungry after eating a healthy portion? Should I eat more protein/fat...or accept that im not stuffed...and get into the mode of portion control? |
