Yes. Exercise can help burn off those extra critter carbs that you ate, along with water and eating the very next meal a'la Atkins Style. You probably won't be in ketosis, but you will most likely get back in the swing of things after a few days, as long as you stay strong and keep soldiering on through the levels. The hike sounds like you got in some great activity, along with the power house exericse you just finished! Wow! Make sure you drink your water and find some potassium vitamins so your muscles aren't screaming mercy tonight when you go to sleep Next time I think you'll probably find it easier to ask for a salad to accompany the insides of the enchilada and gucamole

Thanks Apple. I guess a few days lost are not that significant. I need to keep realizing this is a new woe and not get too caught up in trying to loose the weight really fast. Do you any recommendations for potassium supplements? Thanks, Brian

You're welcome. Nope. You didn't do anything you can't clear up within a day or two...or if you're more active then most with exercise/work, etc..sooner. As for the postassium supplements, I buy mine from Walmart. They're about $2 and worth every little pill in the bottle after long, hilly walks for my legs. I recommend taking them as directed or even just taking one a day with the morning meal so your body can use it up during the day. I've seen some great exercise guru's here on the board that might suggest even more
