| Erin, A scale is a good idea! Here's a link to a thread I posted a while ago...shows you what an ounce of cheese looks like: an ounce of cheese (A cheese visual) |

| You can buy individually wrapped string cheese in 1 once per package cheeses. I have found however that individually wrapped cheeses have very little flavor. Another thing you can do is cut your cheese block into equal parts and divide the number of pieces into the total number of ounces that were in the cheese block in order to determine how many oz are in each piece of cheese. For instance, if you have a 10 ounce block of cheese, then cut it into 10 cubes of the same size. Each cube will be 1 oz, which you can eat four of everyday.
