| Thanks everyone....and yes it really does make me want to keep going! I realize the the weight loss will slow way down after several weeks and thats where it won't be as exciting but I just keep imagining what it will feel like to get down to what I weighed when I was in my 20's! Now I have to get myself to exercise.....carrying all this weight has taken a toll on my knees. Exercising will be a bigger challenge for me than the change in eating habits! |

| Great news Greg. Good for you! And it's also great news that you feel this can be a way of eating you can maintain... hopefully for life! Re the exercise... why not join a challenge? They're fun and motivating and are great to keep you accountable and give you the feeling of not plugging away all alone. If you are unused to regular workouts you could start with doing useful stuff around the house that involves movement. I don't want to appear to tout my own challenge, but it could be a good stepping stone to proper workouts. If you click on the challenge name (Chores & Exercise - Double Whammy Challenge) in my siggy, you can read the details. It's for the month of May, so there are three weeks left. Or, there are lots of other challenges to choose from... I'm sure one will catch your fancy. Again, congrats! You're doing splendidly!

| Stunning losses Greg, absolutely fantastic. I'm on day 8 and know that I had lost 10lbs by yesterday morning. I hope to lose about 7 this week making 17 in total and will be over the moon at that. But I am astounded by your weight loss. You must be beaming from ear to ear. You're now not far behind me, I started on 302, now at 292. If you can keep this up you'll soon overtake me. I intended to use the gym at work today, but circumstances got in the way and I didn't get a break to go. But roll on tomorrow. Keep it going. David
