| Avocado is in the Special Category Food section. It can be eaten but for some people it might cause weight loss problems. So I wouldn't eat it everyday at this point. You also count the carbs of that avocado as part of your daily carb intake. Your 3 cups of veggies are from the Veggie Lists: either 3 cups in any combination from the "Salad" list or 2 cups from the "salad" list and 1 cup from the "Other" list.

| If it were me...I'd eat 1 cup of lettuce, a full cup of cucumbers and a full cup of jicama. They are all "salad" vegetables.

| I've eaten a 1/2 of an avocado maybe 2 or three times since I started induction 3 1/2 weeks ago. Do you think this sounds reasonable? Or should I avoid eating it all together while in induction? Hey Joy, thanks for the pointers. I'll do that. Sounds yummy to me.
