I was wondering if I can start diet despite the fact that I was doing my own version of low carb diet for the past 8 weeks and still succeed ?

Hi Beba,

No need to apologise - your English is very good!

Well done on your weight loss so far. It is very likely that the diet will still work for you despite having been following your own version. Start with two weeks clean induction exactly as the book says and you should get on fine

Make sure you are exercising now too - a good place to start is to commit to an exercise challenge here on the board - there are lots of great ones to choose from.

Also, there is an international thread on the forum, there may be other members also from your country. It is useful to ask what Atkins-friendly foods are available. http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...splay.php?f=42

I am pretty sure the diet will still really kick in for you, because you are now starting to do it right, it might be your body will need a little adjusting, but I am pretty sure you'll do just fine.
Your english is very good btw, no problems with that at all, I do wonder now where in Europe you are though, hehe, always been nosy, LOL
