I'm on day three. How are you doing so far? My first day was a major headache. Must have been carb withdrawl. I've got my fingers crossed for you. We can do it, we just have to do one step at a time. Last edited by Fuschia; June 13th, 2007 at 12:20 PM. Reason: *because I can't spell, apparently.

It doesn't matter if you fall, what matters is if you can get back up! I've done a lot of stop and start dieting, and while I wish I could have made less mistakes, what I regret most is my all or nothing thinking. Just because I ate one thing I shouldn't have is no reason to throw the whole diet out the window. Why did I do that so often? Well, no more. Do you have any hobbies or something else that you can do to take your mind off of things? I know it must be rough with your boyfriend deployed. My father was in the military and even now I live in the Ft. Hood area. It's a hard time right now for a lot of people. My prayers go out to you both right now. I hope he stays safe.

I think you'll be surprised at how well this works. This is my 4th day and I peaked at the scale today and looks like I've lost around 6 lbs. so far. I was on Atkins about 2 yrs. ago and lost 30 lbs. but then for some stupid reason I quit. I won't ever quit this time. This is my new life change. My husband is also on it and has been for 9 days now and he says that he's lost 15 lbs.
