| At least for the first 14 days you should do induction by the book, after that you can test yourself to see if it affects you, it does me!! You need to break your addiction to caffiene too.

| 20 oz? I don't necessarily think it will ruin your whole 14 days. I don't think it will even ruin today. Although it's not healthy for you to consume it in abudance, and it's against the rules of induction, it is not going to completely throw you off track. It's not like you just sat and consumed a fudge brownie waffle bowl from Dairy Queen. The worst that could happen is that it stalls your weight loss that you could have perhaps have accomplished today. Just drink water for the rest of the day, and try to stay away from it until the end of induction. Then look for the diet coke sweetened with Splenda, or the Diet Rite products. They don't contain caffeine. |

| Try challenging yourself to go a couple weeks with just water. You won't like it at first but that water will become addictive. I used to drink a lot of diet soda....tried one recently after weeks of drinking just water (and an occasional cup of coffee) and it tasted horrible to me. Its amazing what your body will adapt to. |

| Also keep in mind that you are limited to three servings of sweetener per day...typically, a whole bottle of soda contains at least 2 servings (check the side nutrition panel -- usually one serving is around half the bottle). You may find yourself easily going over your sweetener limit in this manner. Best of luck, ~Far la bella figura!

| You REALLY wanna be careful with the Splenda. You shouldn't have it at all when on induction because it could cause a stall. The whole point of being on induction is to detox yourself from all the baddies and get yourself back to basics. After the two weeks you start adding things in little by little and you watch to see how your body reacts to each new thing you add. Going without your favorite thing is tough, but it's worth it when you get to the 2 week mark and you realize you were addicted to it and now you don't need it anymore. You can do it!!! Who has more control--the soda company or YOU!!! It's you--of course it is!!! Go for the complete detox and show yourself what you can do. Your body will thank you for it. Good luck! |
