| That's the reason for the six hour rule. Don't go more than six hours between meals/snacks. We're supposed to eat something, even if it's a little something....at least every 6 hours so that we don't get to that ravenous point.

| Yes, I do notice it! I'm rarely truely hungry but when I am, I'M STARVING. And it's never a gradual thing; it happens all at once. Joy gave some excellent advice. We should always try to eat something before we get to that point. |

| Joy, Thanks for your advice on the matter. I wasn't really posting that up to get any advice but really just wondering if others doing induction have similar experiences. I'm sure eating more frequently would solve the problem but the idea is that I actually don't feel hugry, I don't care to eat, then all of a sudden I get crazy hungry. I go from not hungry at all to very hungry and really grumpy. Having done induction a few times, I know what I have to do to control the cravings. My most effective solution is to have prepared ketosis friendly foods laying around at all times. In addition, I know already that I like eating at night so I always make sure I have a decent amount of food laying around at night that I can snack on including: eggs, various cheeses, low-carb sausages, some fried chicken, raw veggies, some whipped cream with splenda or low-carb induction friendly cheesecake. Those things help deal with my sporadic and sometimes wild hunger.

| I totally noticed this when I was on induction, and so did my mom actually. We were good for a while, then suddenly we were STARVING. I eat at the same times every day, I've been trying to get my body into a schedule over the last 2 months. I eat breakfast, then I eat lunch at noon every day, and dinner at 6pm. I might then have a snack at 8 or 9. This works for me! |

| I'm on induction and forget to eat because I'm not hungry, then I do have the growlings from my tummy and by then I'm grumpy. Drinking water doesn't always take care of it, usually I am really just that hungry. Weird how ketosis does that, huh?
