TOM problem

I need to know if other people have had the same problem. I started back on induction last week and lost a little weight but couldnt understand why the scales werent budging like they did a couple of years ago when I was on Atkins. Then two days ago, I think I found out why. My monthly friend came to visit me. I know that it causes water retention but could that be the reason why it is saying I haven't lost anything? and when the water retention starts to go down will my body catch up with the work i've already done, or am I going to have to start over again?
