| Hi Emma, How you read the book? It is vital to read it and re-read the bits on induction so that you are up to speed. It contains a list of induction friendly veggies which you must eat to get nutrients and fibre. Thus link also has it: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ead.php?t=6781 (What foods can be eaten on Induction?) This post is also very useful for beginners - 40 great tips. http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ead.php?t=6790 (A "MUST READ" for Newbies... 40 excellent tips!) 2lbs is not bad for a week, though it depends on your height, age and how much weight you have to lose. Try not to obsess over the scale - take measurements straightaway to check your progress - and check again in a fortnight or a month. Taking pictures is also a good way to gauge progress. A few other points - are you exercising? That will help shift the fat. Also are you getting in the required water? Best of luck with this WOL. |

| I guess my only tip is look for hidden carbs in some meats like sausages especially, some bacons have sugar in them. But keep it up and try joining the 6WEC it really helped me on my first induction week Ros x

Veggies are so important! At least half of your net carbs should come from veggies. Drink lots of water. Stick close to the board and post often. Good Luck. |

| You should only be eating 3-4 ounces of cheese daily, and you should be having more vegetables. Cut back the cheese and see what happens. Plus, two pounds isn't bad!! |
