| the doner meat stuff is packed with fillers, lamb is generally okay, it has something on it though doesnt it? if i remember rightly its red in colour? i think it should be fine if theyre just spices - just ask to make sure, most will be more than happy to tell you!! on a night out i usually order a chicken salad on the way home! weird i know lol - either that or a curry, without the rice of course!

DOH!! That's the lamb doner out the window then!! Guess I'll be sticking to either chicken shish kebab or a burger (without the bun) and mayo instead of ketchup. Mind you, I guess a homemade one would be much more satisfying that a yucky rubbery take-away one anyhow!!Hmmm now tell me more about curry please??? Can I have chicken korma??? Or for that matter any meat/prawn curry as long as I don't have rice or naan??? I blooming love curry and it didn't occur to me to go there!!! LOL!!! MMMMMM chicken tikka ..... drrroooollll!!! |

| LOL, in the first 2 weeks i'd avoid it - ive never had any harm for it, i always go to the same place for mine and they know my deal, basically anything without added sugar and your good, steer clear from a bhuna, it has potato in it... try and pick curries that are cream based and you're pretty much good to go. Korma is sweet so i'd definitely check that one first - thats the clue to this WOE, if you dont know, ASK that occurs at butchers, takeaways anywhere! people are always happy to help!

| Sorry, I will have to recomend that you don't have curry during induction, as there is no guarantee what ingredients they use. Some do have sugar in them. Emma has curry as she is a little further into the diet and not doing induction anymore. For fast food, go with the chicken kebabs, or even the lamb shish kebabs. Rich

| My 'fast food' favourite is to buy a chicken quarter from the chippie!! Actually it was my usual choice pre-Atkins anyway as I hate food in batter, and as we know, the 'normal' fried chicken in UK never had a batter coating before the Colonel brought his pesky greasy KFC across the pond. The only difference I make to my order is that I dont get the large portion of chips I used to have!
