![]() You really, really need to learn to like more veggies. Lettuce has little to no nutritional value or fiber. You must open your mind and try lots of them... at least half of your net carbs should come from veggies. If you don't have sufficient fiber and water intake, you are going to have *potty* problems (big time!) along with a lack of vitamins and nutrients. The first rung of OWL is more veggies! About the jello and muffins... I don't eat them, so maybe someone else can help you on that. Good luck! |

| I am having the same problem, except I am on the 4th day of Induction. I have a hard time eating. I am just not hungry! So I am looking forward to hearing the responses here. |

| when I was doing atkins years ago I lost 18 lbs in two weeks. I ate gobs of eggs, any style from fried in butter to deviled eggs with rich mayo and hot chinese mustard. I ate bacon, sausage, lunchmeat, cheese (on everything), Pork and hot chinese mustard, only the vegetables I liked. Sauted Mushrooms and onions/bell peppers in an Omelet. Regular Hamburger pattie fried in butter, with these vegetable listed above with a splash of soy sauce and a fourth cup of coffee thrown in. Crab fried in butter with 2 T. NO Carb cream. WONDERFUL SAUCE-smooth and creamy-works for vegetables too. My downfall was breads and pastas-Stuff your mouth with meats you like. Hot wings, Kentuck fried Chicken, eat the skin too! In a restaurant, discard the bread, shell, etc. Pour on the hot sauce. Above all...don't starve. If your hungry..eat till youre not hungry any more. Don't monitor the calories. Those stuffed jalepeno peppers(not breaded)with bacon, cheese and crab a person makes themselves are cool......... |
