| I don't know about safe, but I can assure you that it won't be nearly pleasant as pleasant as this woe. And you certainly won't lose weight any faster - quite possibly slower. What happens when you do low carb and high fat is that your body is kickstarted into ketosis, which means you begin burning fat for energy instead of carbs. The more fat you eat, the more you will lose. The more fat you eat, the fuller you will feel, the more satisfied you will feel, the calmer you will feel, the more energetic you will feel, and the more happy you will be with your menu. A low-carb, low fat program is absolutely the antithesis of Atkins and you couldn't call yourself a person doing the Atkins plan if you do it. What you would be doing is the Palm Beach diet, which has its fans also. |
