| Good Luck on your restart. I have restarted this WOE about a trillion times because I always come down with the "flu" and end up giving up before I give myself time to get over it. This time, though, I am toughing it out because I really, really, REALLY am tired of being overweight. Hopefully it won't be so bad for you. Again, Good Luck!

| Mojo~ Your little girl is as cute as a button! And thanks for the luck, I'll need it. Marcella~I hear ya on being tired. I can completely relate. What stage are you on? I had one other question though...how will my weight loss compare to the weight loss from the first time around? Will it be slower, the same, faster? Will I hit a plateau sooner? Anyone know? |

| Thx! I've heard various opinions on this. Some Say the 1st time you try it your body loses way faster than any other. Though everytime I've tried it I've been totally pleased with the results and haven't noticed any slowing in my rate of loss

| Hi Guys! Getting the induction flu is a small price to pay for feeling wonderful after you get through it. Some people feel awful, take the day off, rest, nap...others get by just dealing with it. Take a ibuprophen if you have a raging headache. But know, once you are over it (and if it happens it is an excellent sign you are going to lose weight if you stick with it) you will be on your way to feeling better every DAY than you did when you feed yourself carbage. You will control food, food will no longer control you. Try not to dread induction flu, try to embrace it! |

| Just a word of caution - green beans (aka string beans) are listed on the one cup list of allowed induction vegetables, so you did exceed your 'allowance' . You need to add two cups from the 'salad veg' list - which is not just lettuce but has mushrooms, celery, peppers, radishes etc on it too to your one allowed cup of green beans tomorrow. If you love veggies, then make sure you move straight to OWL after your 14 days on induction where you can 'legally' add 5 net carbs of green beans (or any other of the legal veggies) to your 2 cups of 'salad veggies' and one cup of 'other veggies.

| Hoping, To answer your question, I am in the induction stage. Just started again. Last week I weighed 164 pounds, and am already down to 160. My mini-goal weight is 150. I am hoping to eventually get down to the 135 pounds that my drivers license still states I weigh. Keep going!

| Oh yes, vacation, got that coming up on the 26th and I'll go off plan too but I won't do the whole induction again unless I gain more than 1 kg, else it'll just be few days to get back into ketosis and then back to where I left off. Don't really think it's necessary to do it all over again as the main ideas behind induction (portion control, being able to calculate your CCLL and basically getting started) aren't needed since I've done it clean the first time. Well, at least that's what I think...I'll see how it goes in the end but I'm not worried. GL on your re-inudction |
