I bought Hunt's brand diced tomatoes that don't have any form of sugar or starch listed in the ingredients. Maybe you can find a comparative brand

Oh, and for chili...I just cooked up ground beef, added seasoning, garlic powder, some chili powder, diced tomatoes, onions, and bell pepper. Make sure you measure everything before you put it in the pan to cook so you get an accurate count for carbs. It's not "bean chili", but it works when you want something warm and chiliee. Stew....I brown my stew meat, season it, toss it in a slow cooker, add cutup pieces of cauliflower, bell pepper, and green beans....and add about 1/2-1c of water. Let simmer for about 4-6 hours. I serve mine hot and add an ounce of cheese. If you want a Mexican flavor, add your spices or salsa to it.

Your Welcome. Slow cookers are the best...especially the different sizes they have. I have a family size that can fit a turkey (although I've never done a turkey in it), and I have a smaller one for small roast, meals, etc. Have fun!
