| If you sneak in little cheats here and there in the past, you might want to consider moving to OWL. On OWL, your food choices open up so the chances of feeling "bored" with the diet are minimized. If you look at the metabolic resistance chart in Chapter 13 of the book, you'll see that you have low metabolic resistance to weight loss. Dr. Atkins wrote that the only people who may benefit from extending their Induction are those with a high metabolic resistance to weight loss.

| Extended induction is fine, but make sure you eat all the veggies you are suppose to have. And remember, alot of people find they lose MORE weight on OWL so don't be nervous about heading up the rungs. Because you are a "bad food lover" like me it is best to follow the rules by the book. We will learn alot about all the good healthy foods out there and make it our lifestyle instead of a diet to lose weight. 25 pounds. That is wonderful!!!!! Keep up the good work and post here often. |
