| A packet would be a serving. If you only used 1/2 a packet in your coffee... you might be able to consider that 1/2 a serving. A tsp. could also be a serving... if that's what you normally use. If I have a recipe that calls for 1/2 cup, and it serves 12... each serving is that 1/12th of the 1/2 cup. Just count the carbs... a packet is 0.9 net carbs and a Tbs. of granular is 1.5 net carbs (a cup of granular Splenda is 24 net carbs). |

| Thanks..for the explaination...i guess I should have asked "how much" a serving is according to the "3 servings" a day of sweetner allowed, that I've often seen stated on this Board |

| And remember that one packet of the granulated splenda equals one teaspoon of the loose stuff - even though it is a smaller amount. The loose splenda has a different 'bulking additive' from the packet stuff to make it equal the sweetness of one spoon of sugar for baking recipes.
