| I wouldnt worry about it too much i eat at least 2 eggs a day.

| Our livers produce over 2/3 of the cholesterol in our blood. Only 1/3 comes from our diet. Also egg yolks contain a chemical called "choline". Choline helps to lower blood cholesterol and it does some other things as well. Personally, I wouldn't eat 12 eggs per day because too much of anything is bad.

| You do NOT need to worry about the cholesterol in eggs or anything else while on Atkins. You're trying to eat more fat, not reduce or limit it. Dr. Atkins considered eggs the perfect food, and said you could eat as many as you want. I personally, because I don't eat much meat, eat between 4 and 8 eggs a day. Stop eating just the egg whites. You need the yolk, which has the fat. |

| I eat at least 5 eggs a day. Fried eggs, chopped egg on salad, devilled eggs for snacks. Cauliflower salad.

| I eat a lot of eggs. I snack on hard boiled eggs and slice them into my salad. I eat a lot of crustless quiches. I make mock danish. Sometimes I eat eggs for breakfast. I'm not eating a dozen eggs a day or anything, but I've never restricted them.
