| Having stuck on extended induction both previous times on Atkins, I decided this time to try doing OWL immediately. It's fantastic. I say, go for it. |

| MarkO, I'm not a male. But since Dr. Atkins didn't write two diets---one specifically for men and the other specifically for women---I feel I'm a little qualified to answer your question. Get a copy of and read Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, 2002 edition. That book will tell you how the diet works, how to do the diet properly and what you may eat. The absolute worst mistake you can make is to do Atkins by how someone else did it. We've seen plenty of people do "Atkins" the wrong way. So save yourself a load of grief and frustration and get a copy of the book.
