| Yes, my idea is... Don't weigh yourself until the 2 weeks is over! Induction isn't a one week thing, it's 2 weeks. Even then, the idea of induction is to break you from your carb addiction. Not everyone loses a ton of weight during induction, so yes...stick with it and hopefully after two weeks, you feel better and are on the right track to a healthier life!As far as the food goes, it looks like the right types, how about the quantities? Perhaps you're not eating enough!

| Hi CJ 07, Higgies is right - try not to weigh too often - your body is going through a lot of complex chnages and it needs times to settle down into this new routine. A couple of things are worth thinking about at this stage. Firstly take measurements of your body now to compare with later if the scale remains the same. Also how much weight are you hoping to lose? If it is relatively little, you won't lose a great deal early on. Check and double check what you are eating. Check for hidden sugars, sweeteners, etc. What amounts of these foods have you been having? Measuring with cups is easier to control that weighing, I have found. Also, measure your water to be sure you're having enough. Finally, any exercise will help get you into fat burning mode. Good luck and let us know how it goes |

| exercise and check the valid veggies list, I don't think you are eating enough veggies. http://www.atkins.com/articles/atkin...eptable-foods/ I hate to be embarrassing, but you could be bound up with a lot of cheese and no veggies.

| I'd also be interested to know what your stats are. F/M? Age? Start weight/goal weight & height? Exercise routine?

| I thought the same thing as Jimmy when I saw your menu. Are you sure you're staying within the cheese limit? Are you using a lot of salt? You also need to give the diet time, as others have said. You have to have patience--I struggle with this aspect as well! lol |

| Jimmyolsenblues is right. It doesn't appear you're eating enough vegetables. Try adding a salad with lunch and one with dinner to see if that helps (it helped me).
