| Hi HayHay. Glad you've posted and looking for solutions to your problem. The best advice I can give is to have LEGAL choices available so that if you do munch...your not eating the wrong things. Secondly, what do you do at night that causes you to want to snack? Changing your routine will help eliminate the habit that you have to eat while you are doing it. If you watch tv, you could sit on the floor and do exercises or walk in place while you watch it. If you have a comfortable chair that you've always sat in and snacked...start sitting somewhere else in the evening. Make a list of what causes you to lose control and change it. Write out a list of reasons you want to succeed. Make post-its of quotes or phrases that motivate you. Post photos of yourself at a certain weight you want to be/or of someone whose weight you'd like to be. Have alternative plans such as coming into ADBB or calling a friend for support when the urge hits you. You can do this. Make a plan to succeed and don't let anything or anyone take that dream away. ----------------------------------------------- Formulate and stamp indelibly on your mind a mental picture of yourself as succeeding. Hold this picture tenaciously. Never permit it to fade. Your mind will seek to develop the picture... Do not build up obstacles in your imagination. Plant the seeds of expectation in your mind; cultivate thoughts that anticipate achievement. Believe in yourself as being capable of overcoming all obstacles and weaknesses Norman Vincent Peale

| hayhay I am right with you. I just posted about how I was so disappointed in myself and can't stop eating junk foods. The more I think about how I should stop, the more I convince myself that I should just gorge on it today and "get it out of my system" to start fresh tomorrow. And tomorrow never comes. It's easy to give advice, but I find myself just in need of a buddy. Don't beat yourself up, we can do this the right way
