| Congrats on your 8 pounds loss so far. Be patient. The only thing the "whooshie pie" will whoosh is water. We're in this diet for fat loss. So like Brook advised you in another thread, if daily weight fluctuations are driving you crazy, stay off the scale. Fat weight loss is a our goal here. And what you are looking for is a downward trend. I can step on the scale and weigh 130. But if I drink 16 ounces of water and re-weigh myself, I'll be up to 131 pounds. And if I pee it all out an hour later and re-weigh, I'll be back down to 130. I haven't gained any fat and I haven't lost any fat, but if I was scale obsessed, I would be freaking out that I gained a pound and lost a pound and I'm not losing any weight at all. Remember we're aiming to lose fat, not water and definitely not muscle.

| A cheeseburger whooshie huh? lol... I have to know as well. What is that? I have noticed my appetite drop considerably in the past day. It is so nice to not be hungry all the time. I like having less appetite.

| It's a meat casserole that's loaded with horseradish, mustard and some other allegedly "thermogenic" ingredients. All those alleged "thermogenics" do is make you go pee, so you lose water weight, not fat weight.

| Yeah, I tried to make the whooshie pie back in the day, but all it did was nauseate me. And I usually love horseradish. |

| Ohhhh My mistake ... I was Wrong in calling it whooshie pie i guess .. what i was refering to was a Cheeseburger pie i used to make .. ( I though it was called whooshie ) /... Its ground beef / onion / tomato / peppers etc...... bake it like a meat loaf and top with cheese ..thats it .. i thought it was good for jump starting ketosis cause of its hight fat content ..... iv never heard of the whole horseradish thing ... my bad |

| Ohhhhhhhhhh...someone posted a recipe ages ago that gets resurrected every so often. It's called Hamburger Pie, and was nicknamed Whoosie Pie because whoever started the original thread said it gave them a Whooshie. It's made with ground beef, onions (I think), yellow mustard, horseradish and cream cheese and it's vile. |
