| Its your two year ADBB-versary! is there something about this date that makes you come here? lol I cant say anything to make you do this, if you want it enough, you'll do it, if you're not quite ready, you'll talk yourself out of it... the more you post here, the more likely you are to stay on plan, we guilt trip you!!!! haha, no, but we keep you accountable, or at least, thats how it works for me! | Thanks, I do need to be held accountable. I try to do the plan on my own as well and I think I need to let my family know I am doing this, my mum, dad and brother low carb anyway and my mum will cook me anything I want when I visit them. Also my in-laws try to help when they know i'm on a diet and as me and my hubby live on the same street they often ask if we want tea and my mother-in-law offers to cook me anything as well. I think tho that I have failed so many times that I dont want to tell anyone but its like giving myself an excuse to fail because no one know am trying to eat on the Atkins way, anyway. So like I said I need to tell my family and let them support and encourage me and to post on this board for support and "guilt trips", lol! |

| You may need to ask yourself some tough questions and find out what is at the core of your eating habits? Sometimes it is a self esteem thing and we truly don't believe that we are worth it. Self love is tough. We can come up with a gazillion excuses. In the end, you have to believe that you are worth making these changes that will change and create a new life. Are you ready to take that step and selfish for probably the first time of your life? Just some thoughts from someone who struggles too.

| I found it very helpful to tell everyone close to me (friends, family, and co-workers) that I was doing Atkins and trying to lose weight. Before I would keep it a secret so no one would know that I had failed. Now I feel accountable to more than just myself. |

| So happy to see you back. You can do it. You have the determination to do it. Make some solid goals, plans and come here often to mingle with the great people who are filled with motivation and encouragement. Write out why you want to do it, write out how you are going to do it and don't look back. Go forward and make it happen. We're all here for you!
