| My opinion is yes in regards to higher fat percentage meats. It gets your body used to burning fat as it's primary fuel source. Secondly it also helps you stay less hungry. You will find that after a few days, you don't get hungry nearly as much as you used to. I would only use oil (I prefer olive) to cook food when it is necessary, I wouldn't be adding it just for the sake of adding. I would also consider taking the Fish Oil Omega-3 (Fatty Acids) as a supplement. Good Luck

| When I eat lowere fat stuff, it slows my loss. The more fat I eat, the more I lose.

| You can eat lean cuts too - just add fat some other way, I eat fried chicken a lot for example. You don't have to exclude fish oils, olive oil in favour of animal fats, those sort of oils are very good for you, so use them. One of things I most enjoy on Atkins is the freedom to use such a wide variety of oils in cooking, they really can add different and excellent flavours. Ones I use often include olive oils (various kinds), seseme oil, avocado oil, walnut oil, almond oil and occasionally truffle oil. Each can bring something special to a dish.
