| Are you drinking enough water? If you aren't that can really make you exhausted since it needs it to flush the ketones out.

| Hi Booklady In his book, Dr A talks about fatigue during the 1st week of induction and says that "...most often this means that the process is going too fast for their particular metabolism...they're losing weight too fast, losing water and certain minerals too fast and their bodies can't keep up..." He then says that drinking lots of water is essential. You didn't mention veggie intake for today, other than green beans. Get your fibre in girl, or you're going to be all plugged up! Good luck...hope you're feeling better soon. |

| I will work on all the above, good advice. My book is unfortunately in a box out in our barn shed, so I have no access to any of my low carb books, so that is frustrating. I am feeling much better today, still a bit sleepy but better and the hunger has gone down a ton, so that is a good sign. I have been starving all week and wanting to eat constantly and finally today after my meals I am full and I only ate lunch because it was time, not because I was hungry. I am thrilled over that developement !!! Thanks so much and I will up my water, make sure I take my vitamins and eat enough veggies !!! Stephie |
