| Hey, Day 6 for me and today my head is throbbing as well. Drinking wter helps, as it flushes out the toxins which cause the healing-crisis headache. Try to eat your meat with an ample amount of legal vegetables, and perhaps you won't be grossed out. U find cucumbers help alot. I eat 2 a day! |

| Take advil, drink water, and eat more veggies. I eat a lot less meat on Atkins than people would expect. In a few days you'll be feeling great...I promise. |

| Totally normal. I remember my first week was horrible.. This is just carbs withdrawal, so as others suggested, take Advil or Tylenol whatever works best for you and drink as much water as you can drink. All this will be gone by next week. After induction you will feel way more better than even before starting Atkins. So, just hang in there..

| Several years ago, my first week of Atkins was less than fabulous. Between my body switching from burning carbs to burning fat (and you get a little headachey and hazy during this process), my body detoxing, my crankiness as I overcame my addictions to sguar and "happy" emotional foods, etc - I was less than energetic and less than feeling great. I had a lot of caffeine-detox headaches as well. So bear with it and up your veggies and you should come out just fine! =D
