| It's the additional water intake. That's the story of my life though. The girls at work make fun of me for how often I'm in the bathroom. I've always drank lots of water though, so this is really nothing new for me! |

| It seems to slow down a bit after your body gets used to it. You can try drinking most of your water earlier in the day too and maybe not so much the few hours before you go to bed. Although, sometimes I find myself needing to drink about a liter and it is 8 pm, I would rather do my body good and get the water in and pee during the night than not drink it. It is just too important. |

| I like to think of it as exercise. Sit down, stand up, sit down, stand up. |

| When I have to go in the middle of the night, I try and ignore it and go back to sleep. I eventually have to get up and go but every night its the same thing, I pretend to go back to sleep even though I know I will inevitably have to get up. Such a pain!

| At first, peeing a lot means your body is losing the water weight as you decrease your carbs. Carbs hold on to water, so not having any carbs in your body means you don't hold on to water. So at first, you will pee a lot. After that, peeing a lot means you're drinking too much water. The eight, 8 oz glasses of water myth is alive and well here on the boards. The whole issue was debunked in Snopes as a medical myth a couple of years ago. http://www.snopes.com/medical/myths/8glasses.asp
