| Poetic Child It's not a cheat unless you actually ingest it. Sounds to me like you caught yourself and got rid of it right away. If any did slip through it's not enough to effect you. YOU'RE FINE!

| Yeah, you are fine. I did that slicing a cake I made and licked my finger without thinking about it. The point is, you didn't just go crazy and start licking the caramels off the brownies. That might have been considered bad! Just to reassure yourself, check your ketostik. You were fantastic for not just losing it and eating something. Kudos to you! How have your ketostiks been registering as far as pinkness? |

| It is usually only dark purple if you are dehydrated. I use the reli on brand too. You should be fine. But I do know how you feel, you are trying your best and you don't want to mess up. You don't want to fall off the wagon. You are doing great, you will get past this and one day, you will be the one who will be guiding the newbies on their journey! |

| It's such a minor thing as to be irrelevant, put it out of your mind. What's more important it why are you eating only 7 carbs in a day? That is way too low and not doing you any good and means you cannot be eating as much vegetables as you should be. Also why 2 months of induction? Is it time to think about moving on? You won't learn anything about how to maintain your weight or how to eat long term by staying too long on induction, and especially by eating at carb levels that are way below even those recommended for induction.

Is there any particular reason why you are prolonging your Induction phase? From the experience of this board and from what Dr. Atkins wrote in the book, extending Induction past the initial 14 days may be beneficial for the folks who have a very high metabolic resistance to weight loss. For the rest of us who have an average to low metabolic resistance, prolonging Induction doesn't guarantee faster weight loss or a consistent weight loss.
