| I figured out what my real problem is. I guess I'm just not counting right. I love veggies, I just have to figure out what to eat including my salad veggies and other veggies. I too, may cook up a spaghetti squash tonight. They are absolutely heaven! Of course that will be for tomorrow since I've already had cauliflower today. Looks like steak and romaine salad with cucumbers and and cheese for dinner tonight! |

| LOL I'm PMSY this week, too - what a GREAT week to start Induction! ;-) Oh well, it only makes us stronger! My sweet tooth kicker is still having a cup of coffee with 1 tbsp heavycream and 1 tbsp Coffeemate SF .. or only 2 tbsp Coffeemate SF and no heavy cream. One great thing about this diet is that I've never been so painfully aware of how many times I just STARE into the fridge or pantry everyday. LOL. I open it now, and upon realizing there isn't anything in there for me and I'm not even hungry, I close it and realize -- GEEZ! I used to just open this up, reach blindly for the first munchie that sounded good and head right back to the couch!

| I started 2/9, and I'm on day 3. I'm keeping a journal and I'll get a link to that going in my signature. Can I pleeease have the recipe to the cheeseburger quiche?? That sounds awesome. I'm going to keep all my foods and physical symptoms and measurements in my journal, so I can focus on one spot... But I'll be back here for motivating and tips and to see how we're doing. For exercise, I'm just doing 20 minutes of walking on my treamill, 5 days a week. It's not the most I can do, but it's what I know I have time for and can stick with. I think that's more important. Stickin' to my guns....

| Thats my exercise goals - things I know I can acheive, even on lazy days. I'm a big fan of walking because I'm just tired of jogging and am lazy. *admits it* LOL Not sure if anyone likes excel spreadsheets, but thats how I track mine with formulas (link in my signature). Though I'm going to keep the food log in my journal here, I prefer to just update the excel with measurements and weights. Cheeseburger Quiche (its in here somewhere, I didnt create this): 1/2 cup mayo 1/2 cup heavy cream 4 slices bacon cooked to crispy/crumbley 1 lb ground beef 8 oz shredded cheese 3 eggs *garlic salt - I use this over onion powder etc for taste pie container or really any shaped bakeware 01. Ground the 1 lb ground beef and be sure to keep it fine - no big chunks as this will be pressed into your "crust" 02. Mix everything else in a bowl and whip it as much as you can 03. Drain the ground beef as much as possible. I usually press it down with a spatula in the drainer to remove all excess. 04. Mix the beef with the crumbled bacon and press it into the bakeware as crust. 05. Top with the mixture from the bowl and spread fairly evenly. 06. Bake 40-45 min at 350, then allow 20 minutes to cool out of the oven. 07. Doesnt freeze well but lasts in the fridge 2-3 days! Makes 6 slices.. 1.8 carbs a slice.

Also, you might have had Candida yeast in your digestive system... it's a parasite (well, yeast technically is, though it sounds gross) - it relies on your eating carbs to "feed" the yeast... and when you don't eat carbs, it starves the yeast. It will actually cause you to crave carbs and sugars to keep the parasite in your system alive! I was told this by a doctor. I'm not saying you're cheating.

| Its not like a journal or a blog, where comments get tucked neatly underneath and so forth (I'm an organized freak, so this drives me insane as well LOL) - the next post, regardless of where the quote is or what it pertains to, gets tucked right to the very bottom.
