| Your bladder will adjust with time, Kristina. Decrease on the water consumption a couple of hours before bed though. It can only help! The snacks you listed are awesome. Salsa is fine on eggs- so long as all the ingredients are legal and you're wating your servings like a hawk and counting the carbs Classico tomato sauce has stuff in it you can't have on induction if I remember right. Check the ingredients on the jar. Can I promise you that your cravings for sweets will go away? No, but...the desire for them will lessen considerably, the motivation you get because you look better, you're seeing results, and you feel better will steele your resolve like few things can, foods that you never knew were sweet before will start to taste sweet to you know (broccoli is actually sweet, you know!), and as you progress farther along in plan you'll find some amazing alternatives you can eat - and that fruit tastes divine! Sounds like you're doing famously! Well done and keep on keepin' on! ~Brook

| I would suggest that you try to have the majority of your water earlier. Hope it is later in the day there than here since you have eaten your veggies already. It isn't even noon here. I would suggest you plan your meals out. www.fitday.com is a great tool! Those items look okay but check the label to see what is in the pepperonis and the turkey lunchmeat. Same thing with the salsa. And the tomato sauce. You would be surprised how many things have sugar in it. And it goes by many names. Corn syrup and glucouse (sp?) If you are having something with sugar in it unaware that may be keeping your sweet tooth alive. The tuna and mayo may help curb that...strange but true.

| Be careful with those pepperonis---they can have a lot of sodium. Sodium makes me majorly retain water and that can show up as a gain on the scale. |

| I can tell you my experiences: I did have to pee a lot but your body adjusts. I try now to drink more in the morning. I make sure when I go to bed at night, I have a bottle of water on my bedside table so I drink that when I first get up and start moving around. It gives me a great head start because I am not a person to go into the kitchen first thing in the morning. As far as the cravings? I have them every now and again but nothing like it used to be. I used to think of food constantly. I mean ALL the time I would be thinking of what I would eat next and how much money I had in my pocket to buy it. Now, I have been on the diet strict since Mid January and I am actually having trouble eating enough food. During breakfast the other day,I got up to do something I had forgotten to do and like an hour later I was like "Oh, I have to finish breakfast" Never ever ever ever in my life have I ever forgotten to eat food. So yes, stick with it and it will get better. Try your best to be as strict as possible because it helps in the long run with the cravings. I would stay away from the pepperoni's too. You don't want all the ingredients in it, especially this early in the game. I do occasionally eat a polish sausage with sauerkraut but I had to go through all the packages to get the best ones. A lot of processed/packaged meat has a lot of sodium which will make you gain water weight and they also use sugar as a preservative. Especially look for things that end with "ose" those are sugars or sugar alcohols. The more of these you leave out, trust me, the better you feel. Good luck! |
